We’ve always been about helping people but our business has changed substantially during the past decades. Our new logo is designed to reflect that. It balances our global expertise with an embracing spirit. It conveys movement and our focus on helping people make financial progress. And, it’s a “P.”
We might look different, but we’ll continue to serve you with the strength, stability, integrity and experience you’ve come to expect.

Our brand — what we stand for as a company — has not changed. We’re still dedicated to helping people make financial progress. But we’ve evolved – making financial progress possible for people and companies around the world. This new look provides greater unity and consistency in how we present ourselves as one global brand helping people live their best lives.
This is just the beginning…
Starting today, March 9, we’re introducing our new identity to the world. But there won’t be one big splash. A refreshed Principal.com will debut March 14. And it will be followed by our 2015 annual report, U.S. social media and U.S. advertising. But that’s just the beginning. Global implementation across all markets, geographies and media will take about 18-24 months.
